Leadership
Leadership is a non-hierarchical concept. In true leadership all key employees take ownership and are accountable. They act in concordance with each other and the goals of the group as a whole. The leadership culture leads to the understanding that a company will be most successful the moment it uses it’s internal collective leadership capacity. The leader is focused on people as he recognizes that motivated and enthusiastic people working together productively achieve better results. The leader defines a sound and inspiring strategic direction, an igniting vision or goal, and creates the conditions that encourage employees to take ownership and realize that goal. This includes stimulating the development of a cooperative mindset, encouraging diversity, and creating the circumstances that supports productive capacity.
The leader should be able to fully understand the complexity of an issue at hand, and, from that understanding, select and facilitate the most productive approach for dealing with this issue. In order for people to work together productively, it is necessary for them to talk and think together effectively. The leader has the ability to raise the quality of teamwork via conversation, debate or discussion, through dialogue and through creativity, and to move freely through these structures of talking and thinking together.
